Four stars mostly because I hate crowds and traffic lol Other than that, I order ahead online and go in and pick up. The potato balls are always a treat because who doesn't love potatoes. I do. The sweet pastries are also pretty tasty. I will say I have been to Miami and went to little Havana with some real authentic Cuban food and pastries so this doesn't compare but, it's still good and I won't say no. Just follow the signs and be nice. The employees are often very nice and helpful. There's some seating outside. This is just on a busy street down the street from Knott's. tldr, don't say no to balls...potato balls

Chicken croquette - creamy potatoey filling. Def enjoy it fresh. Love Porto's for their affordability and range of savory and sweet pastries. Parking though can be hassle during peak hours.

First time at this location. Ordered online at 7am and picked up 1.5 hours later. The parking was already packed when we arrived. Once inside there was barely a line. Walked straight to the online pickup area. Our food was ready but it took 10-15 mins for our iced tea and black coffee to arrive... We were in a hurry since we were headed to Disneyland. Grabbed our goodies and enjoyed them at the park. Lots of people were making comments when they saw my Porto's bag. Tram security asked me if the line at Porto's or at Disneyland was longer. We ordered: Meat pies: good, similar filling as potato balls Blueberry muffins: 2/5 would skip these. Too sweet and just not that tasty. Empanadas: 4/5 good Cheese rolls: 4/5 these were good but I prefer the guava now. Potato balls: 5/5 even my kids gobbled these down. Best eaten when hot/warm Spinach cheese empanada: 4/5 good Guava cheese strudel refugiado: 5/5 soooo yummy! Chocolate croissant: 4/5 yummy!

I went to Porto's with a friend for lunch today. They have an amazing bakery and cafe with so many options. The staff was helpful, polite and the lines were well managed. All areas appeared clean and tidy despite the large crowd. I ordered a honey green tea matcha, strawberry cream croissant, turkey club croissant and a chicken empanada. Everything was delicious! All my food was fresh and tasty. I will go back for sure but maybe during the week when it's less busy lol.

We LOVE Porto's! It's a great place to go and relax, enjoy a delicious dessert and coffee after a long work day. I can never make up my mind when getting dessert there so this time we got their Fruit Tart, Flan and Tiramisu along with some delicious coffees. All were sooo delish and best part is we had leftovers for when we got home. The service from beginning to end, the order takers, the people handing them to you, down to the coffee servers are all so friendly and see happy to be there. I'm so glad it's just 15 minutes from us!

I had to stop by to pick up some delicious pastries since I was in the area. I grabbed some cheese rolls, their guava and cheese strudel, dulce de leche besito, and a strawberry banana smoothie. I ordered ahead of time to avoid the long lines. I was a big early to my pick up time, but didn't have any issues. Everything was delicious.

Thank goodness we choose Monday morning to come. The line was not long. We walked right up and ordered and waited maybe 10 min for everything... the longest wait was our coffee drinks. We got in and out within 15 minutes. Our server was nice, answered our questions and directed us. The atmosphere was relaxed - nice for what Porto's regularly looks like

When you know, you know--Porto's is truly iconic. If you're in the area, it's a must-visit. There's an endless variety to choose from, so trust me, you won't leave empty-handed. Be prepared for long lines--it's always busy and buzzing with energy. But the wait is part of the experience, and if you're a first-timer, don't be afraid to ask experienced guests in line for their favorites. You'll get some great recommendations! Everyone is there for something special, and it's worth every minute.

Porto's! Why are you always so busy? I know, it's because your sandwiches slaps hard! My favorite is always the cubano paired with their thin plantain chips and their citrus crack sauce! It's so addicting. For dessert, I absolutely love their chocolate cake, which is not too sweet. I'm drooling remember that meal. I got their spicy chicken sandwich, it was also really good. The fried chicken was juicy and very flavorful. And I tried their pan con lechon. It was good but a bit on the drier side. I had to knock off a star just because I noticed that the horchata coffee I ordered was a bit watered down than the last time I had it. The prices are decent. Parking is a zoo. However, the workers get the lines moving quickly. Which I absolutely appreciate. And there's always someone there to make sure your table is clean for you to enjoy your meal. Overall, it's a safe place for my tastebuds to go.
